Backerkit Surveys - Part 3

As mentioned in the previous update, Wednesday was the last day to add items to your pledge through BackerKit. The opportunity to pledge for additional add-ons is now closed.
We’ll be processing payments on BackerKit for the add-ons starting next week to move ahead on shipping the orders. Once we're ready to ship the orders, we'll remind you again to confirm your address.
Those who didn’t get the opportunity to answer their survey, we ask you not to worry as we’re here for you!
If you have messaged us, then one of our team members will help you out shortly and if you haven’t contacted us yet regarding your survey, go right ahead!
Inlays
We haven’t had the opportunity to speak more about the inlays. Today we’ve received our shipment of Adhesive Vinyl Rolls that will be cut to inlays. The purpose of the inlays are to minimize wear and tear of the inner surface of the mid-plate and it's designed to be easily replaceable if needed. We'll be also offering more color choices in the near future!
It’s hard to visualize the texture of the vinyl from the photo below, however the quality and overall feel is quite remarkable!

Backerkit Surveys - Part 2

We hope everyone is doing well! Majority of you have completed the survey and that means we can move forward. If you still haven't, please contact us!
Lockdown is this Wednesday, December 7.
In order for us to move on to shipping, we’ll be locking down all the answered surveys and any add-ons for your pledge. After the lockdown, you'll still be able to change your shipping address up until we ship your reward but this will be the last chance to pledge for an additional CRATE or accessories.
We’d like to THANK everyone for being so responsive! Having accurate counts for manufacturing is crucial to us.
Manufacturing
Our production was momentarily put on pause for a short period of time during the surveying process in order to better understand the order count. Order count has helped our manufacturer in terms of organizing and placing orders for more production materials such as Titanium and Carbon Fiber.
With that being said, we have the Aluminum Mid-Plates ready. We’ve received our shipment of elastic strips and have passed it on to our manufacturer that has already started the sewing and labeling process. (We're closely working with them to make sure elasticity of the bands are accurate across the board.
Soon will be turned to bands!
What's Next?
We'd like to post updates more frequently, however, our main focus has been manufacturing things quickly so we can get them to your hands. One thing we've learned from our previous project, is that quality control is an important factor and sometimes when we push our manufacturers beyond their capacity, our backers take the hit with quality. Our main goal is to get CRATE to your hands in timely manner but make sure each and every component of CRATE meets our quality standard. Your satisfaction is on top of our list.
We're working as hard as ever and we're pushing to start the shipping process for the December orders by end of this month. We understand holidays are important time for all of us. Those who are planning on gifting CRATE, we want to make sure CRATE is perfect as it can be!

Surveys Are Sent | Pre-Orders Now Available!

Hey everyone, we hope you all are having a wonderful week so far! We've worked hard on setting up the post campaign system on Backerkit. We've done our best to simplify the surveys to make it easier for all of you guys!
With that being said, surveys are sent! Please check your email address for the surveys. At times, they get sent out to spam mail so please check all your mail just in case to make sure you received them! We encourage you to respond to it as soon as possible as there is only a 2 week window period. We'll continuously remind all of our backers to make sure everyone gets the chance to respond to the survey!
Friendly Reminder:
You do not need to set up a login and password to use BackerKit. If you use your Facebook login for Kickstarter, the survey will be sent to the email attached to your Facebook account. Just follow the link to fill out the survey, add any add-ons you want, and you’re good to go.
If you decide to change your add-ons and address, you'll have a chance to do so before our cut-off date. We’ll send a final reminder where you'll have the chance to adjust your address before we ship.
Please get the Backerkit survey filled out as soon as possible when you receive it. The guys at Backerkit have been super helpful through this process. Of course, we'll be here too!

Making Progress

Greetings to all of our backers! First and for most, we hope everyone had a delightful weekend!
When will I receive the survey?
We’re excited to say that our Backerkit survey is ready and will be sent out as soon as Kickstarter funds become available to us. Once we’re ready to send them out, we’ll post an update to give everyone a heads up. Stay tuned!
Current Progress
Everything with manufacturing is going accordingly without any hiccups. We’ve received our first batch of Aluminum Mid-Plates from our manufacturer.

Quality and precision is an important factor that we pay a lot of attention to. With that being said, before the mid-plates move on to the next stage of bead blasting, they will be first sanded and polished to remove the exterior tool marks that are left behind from the machining process. The multi-step process will ensure a smooth bead blasted surface!

Possible Options:
Although we're limited at offering more options at the moment, CRATE wallet is full of endless possibilities of finishes and color choices. The Kickstarter campaign has ended, but our work hasn't. As we come across cool finishes and color choices, we'll happily share them with you to get your opinion on them.
Seeing the depth effect of the tool marks that were left behind during the machining process, we couldn't help but notice that it does make for a cool finish for some that might be interested. Let us know if you might be interested!

Hey everyone, we’re back! Although we never left, our account was compromised and deleted! A huge thanks to Kickstarter and their support team for getting our account back!
We understand this has been an unpleasant experience and our apologies extend to everyone who was effected by it. One thing is for sure, we care about our backers and we appreciate their support!
We wish everyone a wonderful week and we’re here to tell you that we couldn’t be any happier knowing that everything is back to how it was and production is move along just fine.
On Other News
